The first two films ("Fear Street: 1994" and "Fear Street: 1978") are already on Netflix and the third installment, "Fear Street: 1666", will premiere tomorrow. Have you seen them? What's your opinion?

This was an official message from the Office of the First Lady.

The first one was so good, it was in line with what 90’s horror was like so maybe I’m biased since I think that era was superior. 1978 was a slow burner but it was still good none the less.

First 2 have been so good. I wasn’t expecting them to be so well made. The 3rd one looks great too.

A pleasant surprise! Those books were a significant part of my childhood and I'll always have a soft spot for teen slasher/survival films or TV shows. Not sure why, but I actually preferred part 2.

Better than all Netflix Original movies. I hate all Netflix movies, because they are boring but Fear Street trilogy.

Have LOVED them so far. Preferred 1978 (I just think Sadie Sink is SO great). REALLY excited for the last one!

Loved the first two and absolutely stoked for the third. Seriously some of the most entertaining and well made films made for Netflix.

I loved 1994 and 1978, part 2 even more so. I haven't seen a slasher movie that brutal in YEARS, I actually got super emotional at the ending. I am SO EXCITED for 1666!!! I'm hearing nothing but amazing things and cant wait to see it all come together.

As a hugeeee slasher & horror movie fan, this series has been so exciting and tbh important because of the lesbian representation.

I watched the first one… :awkney: it was awful y’all . Come on. With all the money Netflix has, they’d think they’d hire quality writers but this was trash .

Have you ready any of the books, they’re written so bad but it’s what makes the series so fun! I’m gonna give the writers the benefit of the doubt and say RL Stine wanted them to write it like the books. :huntyga:

The first one was exactly what I expected from a Fear Street addition. The same with the second but the first act of movie 2 was soooooo slow. It didn’t pick up until the killings started which were AWESOME.

I didn’t like the fact that Fear Street isn’t mentioned, like, at all. And that they changed the neighboring town from Waynesbridge to Sunnyvale or sumn like that. I also didn’t like that they’re changing the whole saga about the beginning of the Fier curse because the Goode vs Fier plot in the OG books was actually really good. But I guess sacrifices have to be made for a movie. I was obsessed with these books and still have the entire 114 catalogue on my bookshelf.

there’s so much they can do with this series, I REALLY hope this isn’t the end of it.

For those mentioning that these were made for Netflix, I don’t think that’s actually the case. I think the trilogy was made for theatrical release but then with COVID got shelved and Netflix picked it up.
