Nope, its fine, this is basically what I meant to say, as much as gay men identify with the female struggle, the struggle gay men experience is not the same. We just have a tendency of saying it is, and then using it as a free pass/excuse to bash women.

I get that there's a lot white twinks that do this, I'm thinking of P*rez H*lton whose whole career is based off of tearing down and bullying women's careers. But I feel like it's stan twitter that's the larger issue. Plenty of 14 yo girls who send death threats if you don't stan Loona or whoever the new kpop trend is or Barb/Beyonce/etc stans that rip your head off of you dare critique/give constructive criticism of their stans. Artistry isn't a competition and this stan mentality treats it as one. Its just my two cents tho.

I didn’t want to say it because everyone was agreeing with her but yeah. Like I get her point and gays online are definitely nasty towards female artists, but there’s something about this straight woman married to a homophobe, using the word twink in a derogatory manner, that doesn’t sit right with me. There are still subsets of straight men who think there should be state-mandated girlfriends and that we should go back to 'traditional' values where women can't work, can't vote, and don't have any reproductive rights - just some perspective for those who think gay men are just as sexist and misogynistic because they doth protest too much about your fave 

Honestly, the more I'm thinking about what she wrote, the worse it sounds - she's insinuating that not only is it the white gays who say the worst stuff about women, but that it's them specifically who are responsible for all the stan wars, and I'm like... where is the breakdown of that - can we see some numbers backing it up cuz that is a pretty outlandish claim...

Honestly I was shocked and appalled when I first started paying attention to Gaga's fandom. I couldn't understand why her own fans were so mean to her when  the GP were loving her. It really is something that needs to be addressed bc a lot of you have spent too long running off your mouth with zero consequence. I'm glad she called y'all out but I don't think it's just white twinks who are like that so that was unnecessary.
