I think if you were really honest with yourself you would admit that negativity towards female artists is an issue among the gay community. Obviously not all but I've seen articles written about it too. So this is just inappropriate. I agree about Cardi not exactly being pristine but disagree that artists shouldn't call it out. Gaga has ignored it for years and it's not getting better. I've been in numerous fandoms over the years and there's always problematic behaviour and trashing other fandoms but I've never seen it aimed AT the person we are supposed to stan. It has enabled too many terrible people to finally “say” what their disgusting minds tell them without the consequences of saying it out loud to people they deal with on a daily basis.
