During that time, President Clinton was putting a lot of resources into Wall Street but the value of the dollar kept falling down. The Fame Kills was supposed to happen in 2009, it was cancelled because of the whole VMA fiasco. It had nothing to do with any economic crisis, since she created Monster Ball 1.0 to keep on the road.
