I LOVE Italy as a country and I go there a lot cause I think it's beautiful, but I feel like they win every time and I usually support the underdogs. MOT 2,733 Posted July 11, 2021 Share Posted July 11, 2021 Google tells me that football originated in ancient China, Greece and Rome, as well as Central America, so if it does come home tonight it won't be in the way that the OP means. It's a hard one to call. England went through the tournament looking like they might have a lot more in the tank if required, but then when it was required against Denmark there wasn't THAT much there, for all that England deserved to win. Italy have got past better opposition than England to get this far, but they have lost the services of Spinazzola, and England definitely have a deeper squad. Twist my arm and I'll go for England.
