Darwinism at play.

And more soon to follow with all these Delta and more variants that are way more dangerous and more rapid at infecting people.

He actually said more than 99% so it's less than 1%. :selena:

Unfortunately the folks who have died from Rona after being fully vaccinated have other health issues/co-morbitities and or don't have strong enough immune systems to mount a robust and durable immune response after vaccination.

Moral of the story is: The vaccines are safe and effective.

Yes and no. Unfortunately, there are still issues with equitable access to vaccines. In my state of Oklahoma though, there is literally NO excuse for not being fully vaccinated at this point. Other places like NYC or LA it is trickier to get everyone  vaccinated. They're really doing well with the campaigns though!

+1 at equitable access.

On a bigger scale, that's why I cringe when they release statistics where they list developing countries straggling in vaccinations, when truth is it's incredibly difficult for them to even procure doses because most have been allocated to the West, and the more powerful countries. 🤷

Sorry, but... this is what these people deserved.

Anti-vaxers, flat-earthers, holocaust-denialists, conspiracy-theorists, etc. - all of these extremely stupid, stupid people who really believes that they are smarter than scientists, because they read sth on Internet...

vanish into you 🥀

And here I am, waiting for my turn, during the highest peak in COVID cases, in my third world state in Mexico. :enigma: I can't imagine how smaller countries are doing right now.

In the US the CDC has reported about 4,000 cases of hospitalizations and deaths from covid in fully vaccinated people since we started vaccinating. I'm assuming hospitalized people who ended up dying only count as 1 in that number.

Considering about 255,000 covid deaths happened since we started vaccinating (around December, right?) and demonstrably more people were hospitalized for covid (can't find the exact statistic, I'm sure it's out there though), the vaccine is putting in serious work :tony:
