Well I somehow respect that they're fighting hard for their faves but the fact that BTS fans still have the nerve to say it's a real hit with organic success is just shocking  the delusion that standom can cause to some people is crazy

Little monsters remind me of Madonna fans. Back when Gaga was big those Madonna fans were especially harsh on us. Every artist has their peak moment, and gen Z has chosen BTS and Olivia etc as their favs. You old gays are saltier than League of legends players. :laughga:

you can't compare BTS to Gaga's  peak moment. She has hits and GP know her songs, most of people have no idea who is BTS and have never hear 'Butter' or any other of their #1 songs.

Every artist’s peak and impact is different. Why would it be the same?

At this very moment, the kids like what they like (BTS) and there’s nothing we can do about it. BTS is bigger than Gaga at the moment and that’s a fact. Gaga is still many times more talented than them and that’s also a fact. It’s just shameful to see the older generation sulking over the success of younger artists. Unfortunately, this is a pretty common cycle in the entertainment world. When the BTS brand ages, their fans will probably hate on a younger group/ artist as being inferior and so on.

If it were up to me, I’d rather artists be able to sing live like Whitney and Gaga, but that’s not the reality we live in. BTS is big right now because those kids made them big.

But its not about them being successful

It's about crazy fans buying the same song 100 times and streaming it with VPN from other countries on 5 different phones

But they ARE successful. If they weren’t their fans wouldn’t be so insane. Whatever they are doing it works. We don’t like it but the kids do. Are the numbers inflated? Yes they are. And why are the numbers inflated? Because those fans love them enough to kill and cheat for them. Their brand rakes in a lot of cash. According to companies $$$ is all that matters, not artistic integrity.

If they are successful in general, they should be fine without cheating

Radio Payola and Playlisting are other forms of cheating/manipulation.  These methods are what other artists use, which are not organic at all.

Music labels pay companies such as Caspian Promotion and Xposic Promotion to get high spots on Playlisting.  That's how other artists get such high streams.
Imagine, IF Hybe pays these promotions to get BTS good spots on playlisting to get them some high streams, people would say Hybe and BTS are manipulating the charts.

Imagine, IF Hybe pays radio stations to play BTS songs (with Payola), people would say Hybe and BTS are manipulating the charts.

Why only BTS and Kpop get called out, when plenty of other artists manipulate the charts with the help from their labels, using these same methods.

These are the sites that sell spots for playlisting promotions, which are forms of chart manipulation.

www.CaspianPromotion.com

www.Xposic.com -- Promotion

Of the 3 chart manipulations, Billboard does not ban multiple versions of physical/digital sales because these make the most money for Spotify, for Billboard, for the music labels, and for the music industry.
Precisely, the reason why big music labels are not complaining about BTS and Army getting #1 six weeks in a row.

memomemome

there is something fishy tbh.

I mean even the song isn't in the top 10 in the streaming chart in the USA... not to undermine their success but, kinda weird tbfh.
