Britney's co-conservator Bessemer Trust RESIGNS after Britney's hearing

They are doing something good resigning following hearing Britney's desire to not be in a c-ship, Bessemer state they were previously under the impression the c-ship was voluntary but now wish to resign knowing it is not.  

However this leaves Jamie as sole conservator 

The wealth management firm that was set to take over as the co-conservator of Britney Spears’s estate, alongside her father, has requested to resign from the arrangement, citing Ms. Spears’s public criticisms of the conservatorship, according to a document filed in court on Thursday.

Bessemer Trust, a professional wealth management firm that manages more than $100 billion in assets, said in a court filing that it wants to resign “due to changed circumstances.” In its court filing, the firm said it was told that Ms. Spears’s conservatorship was voluntary and that she had consented to the company acting as co-conservator. But in a court hearing on June 23, Ms. Spears excoriated the arrangement and demanded it end.

“As a result of the conservatee’s testimony at the June 23 hearing, however, Petitioner has become aware that the Conservatee objects to the continuance of her Conservatorship and desires to terminate the conservatorship. Petitioner has heard the Conservatee and respects her wishes,” the court filing states.

Bessemer’s decision further throws Ms. Spears’s conservatorship into turmoil. For 13 years, she has lived under a system that last week she called “abusive,” and pleaded with the court to let her out of the arrangement without a medical evaluation. Her court-appointed lawyer has not filed a formal request to terminate the conservatorship with the court.

Bessemer Trust had been approved by the court to be added as co-conservator of the estate last fall, but had not taken any action as co-conservator and had not received any of the assets of Ms. Spears’s nearly $60 million estate, nor had it taken any fees.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us ... Bessemer Trust has decided it does not want to get involved because it's become gun-shy over all the controversy surrounding the conservatorship.

As one source put it ... Bessemer feels the circumstances surrounding Britney's conservatorship have become a "hornet's nest" ... so it's bailing.

Our sources say Bessemer doesn't want to deal with Jamie Spears, but three's more. It has issues, we're told, with Britney's lawyer, Sam Ingham, along with all of the public outcry over her case ...

For people not familiar Bessemer is who Britney's lawyer initially said Britney wanted to take over Britney's finances instead of her father. Bessemer were only recently appointed as co-conservators a few days ago but have now resigned following Britney's testimony.

I feel like the more dirt they get against Jamie as a sole conservator (as opposed to co-holding with Bessemer) will hold a better chance at getting the conservatorship terminated. Idk, probably wishful thinking. I hope this move works in Britney's favor.

This is a good thing. It means that he is legally solely accountable for any mishaps during the remainder of this conservatorship.

This might be good, as it already “dismantles” the current c-ship. If anything was gonna nuke it, it would be it falling apart on its own.

Why would they think Britney would've voluntarily entered a conservatorship though? Must be some BS that Jamie fed them
