Pls I have my Pfizer shot and have for months. I’m still not gonna go maskless. Keep being selfish sis. Just know you’re part of the reason we’re still in the pandemic :huntyga:

North Carolina is fully open, so as far as I'm concerned it is over! Cheers!!

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

Its not a good a idea to continue living in fear of virus that has effective vaccines, but go off :vegas:

Not a good idea to be a carrier for a virus that has variants that the vaccine doesn’t cover but go off :vegas:

I just told him were werent putting the blame on them and then u made this comment :air:

I agree with u tho. But they are not generally the ones at fault. They just arent helping as much as they could be.

Im also vaccinated and for now will keep using mask in high risk areas even if my Province lifts mask mandates

So the vaccines aren't effective? Whats the truth? Why did I bother then :oprah: You're telling me science lied again? :oprah:

I’m not saying they specifically are the problem, but they’re part of it. Saying “well it’s over for me” is part of the problem. I have no issue with saying that

The vaccines are effective to one strain. The delta variant is ravaging the states now and the vaccine isn’t effective towards that because it started spreading AFTER the vaccine was created.

Pfizer is 88% effective against the Delta variant, just to be clear.

It’s effective against the severe effects of it but not against transmission which is the issue bc the delta variant is a crazy amount more transmissible than the regular strain.

Its not dramatic, its idiotic. We were told it was only going to be a few weeks, then a few months, now here we are a year later. Then these same 'experts' came out and said, if you're vaxxed still wear one, then only around others, now you don't need to at all. So, yeah enough is enough.

Its very disturbing you and a lot of others so willingly bend over backwards, spread your legs, and allow these entities to control you.

It's literally just protection, like wearing shoes, or gloves when it's cold, or using an umbrella when it's raining.. sunglasses.. etc... control really has nothing to do with it

That's just not true. The vaccines are effective enough against delta. Look at the UK. It's a great case study. Majority of our admissions are unvaccinated people. Also not a single double jabbed person has died in the UK from Delta. They work.

Yeah... a virus that mutates as long as its transmitted and at anytime risks a mutation that we dont currently have a working effective vaccine for... not to mention theres many around the world that still cannot get the vaccines even if they choose to want to get it and any spread in 1 country can affect other countries

I find ur way of looking at it a little shortsighted assuming its not an issue cuz anyone can get vaccinated and be fine if they so choose and so its not ur problem

Ur not taking into account how the virus can change, mutate, and infect others including ppl who havent gotten a shot by circumstance and the more it transmits the higher the odds this will happen

Without masks u may still spread it even if risk is reduced. Hence why some are suggesting maybe we should still use it

It's also effective on transmission but not quite as much. It's spreading like wild fire in the 18 to 30 group here who are the least vaccinated. It's not spreading upwards into the higher age categories at a fast pace though. It's trickling through. The connection is certainly weakened.

46% fully vaccinated and 55% with at least one dose, I believe.

Here in Canada its 76% 1 shot and 30% 2 shots

We prioritized 1st shots first but now most shots are fir 2nd shots cuz demand for first shots started falling fast after we hit around 72%

Look at the reply I said up there^
its effective against severe effects of the illness but not transmission which is the bad part about delta bc it’s a lot more transmissible which in theory can cause another mutation down the road.

Aimee mutation occurs when the viruses reproduce, the chances of a mutation happening get a higher when it’s transmission is higher. That’s why the flu has so many strains imo. It’s spread so much that there’s many different mutations
