But they are not generally the ones at fault. They just arent helping as much as they could be. It’s effective against the severe effects of it but not against transmission which is the issue bc the delta variant is a crazy amount more transmissible than the regular strain. The vaccines are effective enough against delta. Look at the UK. It's a great case study. Majority of our admissions are unvaccinated people. It's also effective on transmission but not quite as much. It's spreading like wild fire in the 18 to 30 group here who are the least vaccinated. It's not spreading upwards into the higher age categories at a fast pace though. It's trickling through. The connection is certainly weakened. Look at the reply I said up there^ its effective against severe effects of the illness but not transmission which is the bad part about delta bc it’s a lot more transmissible which in theory can cause another mutation down the road. Aimee mutation occurs when the viruses reproduce, the chances of a mutation happening get a higher when it’s transmission is higher. That’s why the flu has so many strains imo.
