This sounds like Kids Bop, karaoke and Glee! Why couldn't she just give us a newer version of Applause from the vault? This is ugly. Her team is such a mess, they should all be fired. She really is not the same girl. She does not care about music or us anymore clearly!

Yeah this makes sense, but it's odd considering it's a show about music from Paramount+ (ie VH1)

Yeah, you never know with music market, it's always a mystery. But I know for sure that big names mean huge synchronisation fees in films and television, that's why a lot of soundtracks feature smaller artists or cover songs (less "originality" = lower fees to use a song)
