Gaga never had a whistle in her songs

I just had a random realization that so far, Gaga had 0 whistling in her entire discography so far, and I'm kinda surprised because they're pretty common in pop music? The closest thing we had is probably the theremin on MANiCURE. I can imagine a chillout-type R&B song produced by DJWS with a whistling hook :firega: It's funny because the last time I had this type of realization, I was thinking "How on earth does gaga, an electropop artist, never use a voice synth?" Then later we had the tinnitus leak and Heal Me

There should have been a whistle in Rain on Me :fan: a whistle note, that is. Ariana should have let it fly like she did at the VMAs tbh.

I think the OP means actual whilstling and not whistle notes

I can’t think of any either

i dont think whistling belongs in Gaga’s discography anyway :enigma:

That's because she's more extravagant than her peers. She prefers to sample farts (Perfect Illusion)

Because whistling was so basic in pop music in the early 2010s. Aka Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger, Pumped Up Kicks, Britney's I Wanna Go, Flo Rida, etc. Gaga's hates to be a basic pop star, I think that's a known fact.

It's just so overdone recently & doesn't give enough uniqueness. All whistle-songs kinda sound the same because they're just accompanying the whistle. It's like cheap applause.
