I saw the video everyone was talking about and I literally saw nothing that stood out. It wasn't anything bad, it was just a bit OTT which made him appear as a bit of a try hard courting votes rather than defending LGBT+ with any policy. Its the right choice for Andrew not to become mayor. AJRocketMan 2,684 Posted June 23, 2021 Share Posted June 23, 2021 I am NOT happy Eric Adams is leading the race. I would’ve preferred Yang or Kathryn Garcia instead. I am definitely voting Republican in the mayoral race this year! At least Curtis Sliwa supports animal rights, plus he founded the Guardian Angels at a time when crime was at an all-time-high in NYC. He has a much more comprehensive plan on how to run NYC than Adams does and I like how he’s more left-leaning on economic issues (like property taxes). Eric Adams is absolutely the type to play the race card on anyone who dares criticize him or runs against him, as evidenced by the ridiculously baseless claims he made when Yang and Garcia rallied together two days ago. I also don’t like his personality, the fact that he doesn’t live in NYC, and his use of sensationalism to attract attention. He’s clearly using the BLM movement to gain votes and win the primaries.
