Another Haus Labs instrumental was a sample…

I was listening to a Russian Electronica playlist on Spotify today and came across this song…

I immediately recognized the sample.  2nd in this montage

A few immediate thoughts:

- Boys Noize was repeatedly talked of (and himself talking to press about) being the lead producer for this album.   Then out of nowhere it’s like they never even worked together.  Aside from the HL Babylon tweet, you would have never known Gaga even knew of him.  He hasn’t even been thrown a bone for the remix album.  Why did their relationship dissolve with almost no press?

- Can we talk about the SLAYAGE we would have had with Gaga BTW type vocals and theatrics over these types of hard EBSM & techno beats?!?  When I heard the Russian track I immediately thought of how great Gaga would sound over it.  Would you be here for this sound on a future album?

She said multiple times

That Chromatica was a collaboration between many producers

Many people did something that was not used and everything and everyone was fine about it and it wasn't a big deal

red wine, cheap perfume and a filthy pout

Some of these samples she uses are copyright free samples, so it's not a surprise some people usde that too. It's interesting seeing the creative process, they usually use these copyright free as base to build upon her songs. The creative process is very intriguing for me, thanks for sharing.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

This is actually a sample from Splice (a music platform that sells samples, presets, and virtual instruments).
For example, the sample mentioned in this post was taken from one of the "Oliver Power Tools Sample Pack".
The sample for the HL version of Babylon was taken from "Mr Oizo - Dirty Hands Pack".
You can also hear many famous presets from various instruments in Gaga's songs. For example, in "Plastic Doll" at the very beginning, you can hear the preset from the Spire synth. ;))

Uhm… Chromatica is full of samples, why would she not work with him anymore for using samples? Didn’t she say the music was passed around a lot and whoever had the best version would win? Maybe he never had the best production.
