What song are you the most surprised that it never reached the number 1 spot on the Hot 100 Billboard list?

I know for a fact we all will agree Bad Romance IS the MOST SHOCKING OF ALL.

By the way, you can pick more than one song. I went for Bad Romance, Thinking Out Loud and You Belong with Me.

to be honest in retrospective i am impressed that a song like bad romance even charted at all, it truly was mostly because it has a lot of super catchy melodies and hooks, but it is all on top of a really heavy and industrial base, gaga said she was inspired after visit German clubs and the beat is from a harsh trance track, i listen to aggrotech bands and it's really close, but in pop music outside bad romance i haven't heard something like it at all, it definitely must be one of the most heavy and loud pop tracks of this century if not the most heavy.

I love aggrotech too, I wish Gaga would do an aggrotech inspired album:firega:

Not only it was never a #1 it was a #7.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

with gaga the possibilities are truly limitless, i'd love her to explore more that industrial sound and go further with aggrotech too, also heavy metal and more opera

All of those don’t sound like #1’s so I’m not shocked :lolly:

The list is longer and it's not just about trendy Tik Tok songs. Some of the songs are extremely better known to the ones that blocked them from reaching Nº 1.

One Direction had no number 1 song

nor

Missy Elliott

Backstreet Boys

MC Hammer

Bruce Springsteen

And they all had massively popular songs back in their heydays.
