Do you like it when artists change thier stage name?

I never really thought about it because most of the artists I listen to have never changed their names. If there's a good reason behind it, it's like, whatever, do what you gotta do. But artists who change their name like a zillion times for no damn reason, like Puff Daddy/P. Diddy/Puffy/Diddy/Diddidoodledy or whatever, or even Prince who changed his name to a freaking symbol, now that's just ridiculous, like, are you trying to confuse people?

I'm not really a fan unless there's an important reason for them to do it. Natalia had to do it because the internet cancelled, Kesha's change is not really notable. Marina's does kind of bother me because she used to say diamonds were her fans . Besides, if she had to change it, she should've gone with Marina Diamandis. That's already a fantastic superstar name.

No. Its dumb. Prince and Puff Daddy needed better friends to tell them they were being ridiculous. 

I guess it's different bc she would be reverting back to her real name but I hope Gaga never decides to go by Stefani... I really doubt she ever would but maybe as she gets older and winds down the choreography she might....

Marina was already known as Marina and the Diamonds before working with Dr. Luke. She created that stage name 5 years before she released her debute album. Also I believe Dr. Luke only get's credit for 3 songs on her second album. I think she just changed her stage name so people no longer thought she was a band or a persona.

I guess I could have been more clear. I wasn't saying that she started going by M+TD when she worked with Dr. Luke, but rather the name became associated with him since her two most successful songs were produced and co-written by him. I'm not saying that that was the only reason why she changed her name, but it is a possible contributing factor.
