It's a small role in The Last Duel, she has long way to go. It's very hard for English TV actress to break through Hollywood, look how long it took for Gamma Chen and Karen Gillan.

"it" isn't necessarily a new actress, it can be someone who's been acting for years but is suddenly being talked about and getting roles everywhere now.

So true but I still think she will make it big.  I think Ridley’s next few movies will be great.  He also knows and hires talent.

She's the last big "it" actress I can think about from these past years, but she's lost it for a few years now, I actually just looked it up and she hasn't been in a lot of movies since 2017.

You know what? I forgot we‘re in 2021 and it feels like yesterday when I watched „Red Sparrow“ with her which was in 2018

 

So this whole thread doesn’t really make much sense since 2020 and 2021 there were hardly any new movies nor film festivals. So the Last „real“ and normal year was 2019 and in that there was no actress that stood out except for Gaga with Asib.

I think it has to be a really hot name. I really cant come up with a really obvious answer. 

But i dont agree with zendayas and those it girls. 

Emma stone maybe 3 years, 2 years ago. Now shes already stabilished. 

Margot robbie,  a bit more, but her hype has kinda died. 

Thats mostly it, the axtor needs to be hyped. Its it before triumph or being stalle or flop

Precisely why I asked. Because due to the pandemic it all went down for the movie industry and it's become harder to see who's "making it" now.

I'd say Margot Robbie like a few other comments stated, I was starting to see her everywhere.
