While certainly flawed, the set contains highlights that have endured as some of Gaga's finest -- and removed from the seemingly endless promotional cycle that surrounded it, the album's arguable bloat feels more charming for its ambition than over-extended in its reach. In honor of Born This Way's upcoming 10th anniversary, some of Billboard's now-grown Little Monsters have assembled to take stock of the album a decade later: discussing our memories of its release, the songs that have aged the best, the parts that still make us wince a little, and what we think the set's ultimate legacy is in 2021. gagaxsebert 5,804
This article was nice but I felt like all it did was try to single out the album’s flaws. The artwork, is it pretentious, Songs/lyrics that did age well, etc. They could have picked actual little monsters who’s lives were changed by the album & the great impact it had. As for the Bobby interview Used to be HighRoad
CannaeDrive 3,412
Why asking irrelevant people their pedestrian opinion on the Album of the Century? That was quite a mediocre way to mark that 10th anniversary. "Fame Is A Boomerang" - Maria Callas

ARTGOD 3,266
A perfect example of a too big to fail album. Gaga was so on top of the world that she could get away with everything at the time. BTW is undeniably bloated, messy, unfocused, kinda ugly, and hard to listen to at times. The fact that it’s earnestly and unapologetically those things is what makes it so great. A larger than life political, musical and artistic statement that gave absolutely no f**** about how it was perceived. It’s the perfect encapsulation of who and what Gaga was at the time. At the time it felt like the biggest and most perfect album of all time, and it seems like a lot of people think that way still. Personally, time has only made me look at the album more critically, and its flaws are really apparent now, flaws that would continue for a couple years and end up being what ended her imperial phase. Still, those flaws only make the album more charming and enjoyable. Something doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful, and it’s funny cause it’s kind of the message of the album itself.
