How would you feel safe in a restaurant when you need to take your mask off to eat?

Because I'm fully vaccinated.

The problem I see with this is that anti-vaccers and anti-maskers aren't going to have any accountability now and will go around maskless and gather in large groups, because noone can tell at a glance who is and isn't vaccinated. They won't be called out or feel guilty or have it enforced when they enter an establishment. It's gonna go south really fast... stupid decision tbh. Maybe when 70% of the population has been fully vaccinated this would make sense, but it's way too early

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Not gonna lie. I like wearing masks. I wouldn’t mind if we had to keep it for over another year or a couple. I already wear a mask on my job anyway which’s the longest time in my day

The entire pandemic response has been to prioritize the elderly + sick to make sure that the most vulnerable are protected first. THis isn't a bad thing

But in the US everyone 16 or older is eligible for a vaccine. Also the pfizer vaccine for 12-15 years got approved

And I hope it stays that way. If we move into the territory of vaccine cards and being forced to disclose private health information, it will be a huge step in the wrong direction. Dangerously so.

Many countries have required vaccinations before being allowed to travel there since forever. I understand your concern but it’s not a new thing

And schools, universities, the military

People against vaccine passports are just trying to be contrarians

Exactly. It's either people who need to play devils advocate just to seem more edgy or more intelligent than the masses, or people who have been influenced by fear mongering
