I was thinking about her talking about making dance, uptempo music to dance the pain away, and I had no idea how she would do that, because I felt unable to do something like that, I could only turn the pain into something dark and depressing. I know that some subjects are universal, and they can touch other people, but I'm mostly writing my songs about myself and my experiences without really thinking how other people could relate. So it really warms my heart to read a comment like this, to see that I was able to do something that resonates with people. It's exactly what you said, sometimes I just can't, and I needed to make a song about that. If what I do can help or give some comfort to other people even just a little, it would be amazing.
