BabylonSaints 5,193 Posted April 24, 2021 Share Posted April 24, 2021 I was in a dark time last year before Chromatica because of lots of personal issues, but once I first heard it, it took a little while to sink in, but I finally acknowledged all my pain, hurt, sorrows, and griefs, and let her songs, and messages of love pour in. That's why I have such a huge spiritual connection to it, and why it has a very special place in my heart along with BTW. Recognizing why you feel hurt is the first step to the healing process! The real pain is the one that comes from within, from the doubt, the speculation, the denial. It also helped me recognize my own spiritual gifts, and how I can use them I'm an empath like Gaga, and I feel nothing but warmth, kindness, and positive energy around her. Although I was upset when the initial release date was delayed, I think dropping it right at the start of the summer was a perfect move. You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love. I feel seen when I listen to it. The combination of dance music and the heavy topics makes me feel like it's good to celebrate my struggles and what they teach me. I think the album really sends the message that shame has no place on Chromatica or within ourselves! When I listen to pov, motive, off the table, and positions, I get the chills, and I literally started to cry listening to pov.
