I suppose that's true! We should heckle people who act pretentiously and stick their noses in the air. But a whole awards ceremony is not only damaging to the people involved (everyone is allowed an off performance or low point in their career, famous or not), but it kind of normalises bullying to young people who see it online and get involved in the exchange of harassment at other people's expense/finding enjoyment in the process etc. They could just... not. Move on. Get over it and watch something else

Yes, it would be fine if it was only for movies purposefully bad like Sharknado etc, but awarding people who actually tried to do something good isn't nice... People should be encouraged to do better, not being put down.

I’m so glad this movie is getting this reaction. This could’ve potentially been so damaging for so many people who already have to deal with so much **** from neurotypical people. I really liked Sia a lot before this, but I had to quit her cold turkey after this because of the potential effect this move could’ve had.

Yes, they deserve, the movie was hurtful to we, autistic people, it spreads misinformation and negative stereotypes and was made with the help of a hate group.
