MaybeKermit 5,003
Hiiiii Ok so, Im a huge bey fan but for some reason I only watched Beychella now I had seen videos on the internet etc but never the full performance. I'm not even gonna lie, it takes sth big to leave me shook. And she left me SHOOK for yeaaaaaaars to come I'm truly speechless. The vocals, the setlist, the band, the story, the creative direction, the CROWD. Idk I just got goosebumps. It truly felt like a performance of a lifetime. I imagine this is what Woodstuck mustve felt like I also LOVED how she made some very old songs sound SO FRESH by changing the melody/sound/adding the band etc. Did you already see Beychella? What was your favorite part? Also, maybe off-topic (and it's not to compare the two because they are soooo different), but who does Gaga's creative direction for her tours? I would just LOVE to see her do a show like this and really bring her "album" (I guess) to the nextttt level. I've already seen Gaga live 4 times, and I noticed she usually uses the same "format" and doesn't really switch things up (music-wise; for example a different version of a certain song etc, mash ups,...). Hope this doesnt come across as comparing the two, it's just a thought I had bcs it made me realize I havent been left shook by my fave (Gaga) for a while now (in the way Beychella made me feel)

JoanneMonster 9,028
not to throw shade or anything but she always does the same songs/transitions. I could tell you when she's gonna cut a song and into which song she's gonna transition because it's always the same. She also says "sing" or "let's go" to the audience always at the same part of the song. Beychella is an altered version of the Formation World Tour, BUT FWT is better in my opinion. After Beychella she did the same again on OTRII I See You

Beyonce selects specific moments and she always says the same during the same moment. That make's it feel unnatural. I think she does that because she uses a lot of pre-recorded and wants them to sound live I See You
