Hey Boy 914
The Queen was always a song that I skipped on BTW, I must confess I sometimes gave it a listen but I never fully realized how iconic the outro is. I mean the part after 3:14 mark. It's almost like a hidden secong song. The vibe is totally different from the rest of the track and like the rest of Gaga's released work at that time. It feels very retro, like it was taken straight from 80s. When I listen to it I can picture a party by some tropical beach in the sunset and everybody slow dance to it (eventhough I've never experienced anything like this ). Also the lyrics, the vocals, the guitar, even that little voice crack around 3:50, it all makes it soo good. Definitely one of the highlights of the album and my favorite Gaga songs. Let's take a listen to it again:

whoresup 1,933
YES! I agree The Queen isn’t the most stand-out song but I love it mainly because of the outro Her voice is so powerful and the guitar instrumental is lovely.

Eggs 2,690
The Queen suddenly transitioning from this uptmepo eighties synth-pop bop to a down-tempo 50s rock n' roll moment is a really exciting, audacious twist and the sort of unexpected trick I wish Gaga would pull off more often. And the second part of the song really is lovely. Its such a shame that the first part is quite weak (especially the chorus) because I want to love the song as a whole product but I can't quite get there. Bling 31,262
All of this. The Queen is one of my favorites. I miss Gaga's experimental and spontaneity like this. discord.gg/hausofdelulu Celebrating 1 Year + 1000 Members!
