Is anyone really surprised the show isn't happening this year..? 😳 like, I'd loveeeee for it to happen and to attend, but we need to get our sh*t together and not prematurely do things like concerts rn... we're STILL in a pandemic 🥲

I hate that venues and organisers are dragging this out. I know it's a desperate time and no one wants their business to suffer but the idea that 10s of thousands of people are going to suddenly be packed together in venues in just a couple of months is laughable - even if everyone has had a first vaccine dose by then...it's so clear that opening up should be slow and steady.

Also when are the set pieces being built, the costumes being designed and made, the show being put together and rehearsed? There's so much to do that requires months and months of work beforehand: I highly doubt they have everything ready to go with hardly any notice.

i think they need to wait until the oreo promotion is over to cancel because they are giving away free tickets

Some of my Monster friends really thought and were convinced that the ball was still going to go ahead here, I hate crushing hope but Bojo literally said last night he is aiming to try and get 20,000 in a football stadium in May. That's at a push and with the best scenario. They're not gonna go from 20,000 to over 60,000 (Tottenham's capacity) in two months.

(Plus with the football matches everyone has a seat, there is no standing pit)
