I'm at track 7 and decided to listen to Taylor Swift's You All Over Me instead. The 3 prelude songs are great and perfectly capture what she was going through. TAOSO and Lonely People however are so bad. I don't like the vocal arrangements at all. Her voice sometimes sound 'drowned out' with some studio effect. There is no strong chorus or catch and the lyrics don't flow well. I guess I'm saving my excitement for Taylor's rerecorded album next week instead. She may not be a powerhouse vocalist like Demi but she is a far far better songwriter. I wish her the best but I'mma pass. Good luck Demi!

Yeah it’s really not that good, it’s ok.. listenable ! Dancing with the devil is definitely the standout track but I’m struggling to even remember what the others sound like, they’re all quite bland and same-y. From what the albums theme and inspiration was, I thought that she might have taken the time to craft a better album than the ones she’s used to releasing, which usually only have a few good tracks on them... but this is pretty much more of the same and very average. Happy for her she’s in a better place though!

I've never been able to get into Demi's music, don't know if it's her voice or her image but never catched my attention. I listened to this album and seems like it has a pretty good story about what she went through but way too many songs. Sounds pretty basic but I guess that's the type of music she makes. I think her big fans are really going to enjoy it.

I just feel really bad about what she has gone through but glad to see she's recovering and got the help she needed.

I think it's her best work to date, really cohesive and great lyrics but I'll enjoy it more/have more replay value if it wasn't so long

I do like the Ariana collab but ngl the content of the song was minorly triggering for me soooo ima lay off that song for a bit lol. I really wasnt expecting that song to have that effect on me, but I do really connect with Demi's story about her sexual assault and the way she dealt with it (not the drugs, just some of her coping & decisions to take power back).
