I’m shocked by this documentary gheys, the fact that so many dolphins, whales and sharks are killed by fishermen just for tuna and other smaller fish. I’m now going to stop eating fish and y’all should too for a change :fatcat:

And y’all better watch the documentary and stop eating fish and using plastic :dom:

I've stopped using plastic as much as I can. I love finding alternatives for it. We need to lobby politicians to introduce laws to discourage single use plastics (especially in packaging)

i mean
killing tuna and "other small fish" is already disgusting and should be a reason to stop eating and buying fish products
they are no less than sharks or dolphins

I don't eat fish since I was 5, I think seafood is disgusting, I hate the smell. Also as a science teacher I would never agree to eat something from the wild nature, I eat meat that was raised to be eaten and went through all sanitary and disease control norms, but I wouldn't eat something from nature that disturbs the ecologic system.

A good option for people who likes seafood is aquiculture farms.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

Meat production is one of the most environmentally damaging systems in general
Eating animals that were raised to be killed* isn't that much better
+they are not only dying at the end, but also suffer mentally their whole lives

they talked about fish farms in the doc too

obviously not every farm is the same but the ones in the doc were very unsanitary

many of the salmon were dying from fish lice and other infectious diseases

also the salmon were clearly not feed great diets as their inner colour was grey, however they were feed horomones or drugs to produce a pink pigment in them

hard to even fathom which parts you should believe

I might watch it, but I already know it won't do anything for me, these kind of propaganda movies do nothing for me as far as trying to stop me from eating and using animal based products goes. I enjoy to eat too much. :giggle:

All the sushi and poké bowls in the world are just too good to give up. All those A5 grade Wagyu beef steak that I always had when I did my annual Japan trip also too good to give up. Also, all these milk and cheeses of the world that's included in many foods and sweets. So yeah. I'll most likely watch these shows while eating the very animal they are trying to tell people not to eat anyway. Typical, I know :giggle:

For me these stuffs is more to "good to know, but life goes on 🤷‍♂️" type of thing.

But the thing I am already doing is not littering, reduce plastic bags useage by using reusable green bags, and use more no waste products when possible. That is all for me :giggle:

Another sensationalist documentary trying to place the blame of environmental damage on individuals rather than the real villains of environmental damage: big wig corporations. They are the ones who have contributed irreversible damage to the Earth for the last century.  Looking forward to the usual suspects coming in and calling all of us vile monsters because we enjoy meat. Buckle up, ladies :vegas:

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.
