QueenChromatix 2,174
On this week's Billboard 200 Chromatica is unfortunately out after re-entering at no. 184 last week for its 39th non-consecutive week on BB200. The only Gaga album that remains inside BB200 is The Fame which is down to no. 166. On Top Dance/Electronic Albums The Fame sits at no. 1 for its 124th week atop EDM chart, while Chromatica is runner-up. Shallow is still a global hit charting at no. 93 on Global 200 and at no. 76 (excluding US) On Artist 100 chart Lady Gaga is down 5 spots to no. 77 Imagine what we could have during Chromatica era with any promo... they might say that we're crazy, but i’m just in 🖤 with u

In that case all of The Fame's sales/streams would go to TFM for a week instead on Billboard. But The Fame (the album) and The Fame Monster Deluxe (which is 70% The Fame) always have more combined sales. It sounds complicated but it gets a little bit more clearer with this example: When the Bohemian Rhapsody movie dropped, Queen's discography got a huge boost on the charts. However, the band has MANY greatest hits albums. That poses a huge problem in modern charts because... all of them have the same material, just in different tracklist orders. You can't just give them all the same overall SPS units because that would artificially inflate their stats and create SPS units that actually are not existant. So whichever greatest hits album sold the most pure copies in that particular week took ALL of the created SPS units, while the other ones got nothing. Which meant that for a few weeks, their greatest hits albums basically alternated chart appearances in between each other and served chart runs á la "28-OUT-OUT-29-OUT-24-26-OUT" and "OUT-29-23-OUT-25-OUT-OUT-27". In the case of TFM it's a bit clearer, because the stand-alone TFM EP never sells as much as TF and TFM (Deluxe) combined. So generally speaking, all of their Billboard units are combined (the RIAA units however are split up accurately).
ThisGuyTony 29,010
Hopefully we get at least one final round of Chromatica content to close out the era and the album gets a few more weeks on the charts.
