:ohno: I'm already use to wearing masks so that's ok. But social distancing is hard, i mean since december it has been brutal to me, I miss being with the people that I love. I miss gathering with my friends, cooking/drinking with them, planning stuff to do... I hope vaccination can making things better sooner.

I'll continue to wear masks, I quite like it. I also like that people at work don't hug me or come too close anymore :flower:

Some people in this thread are literally TORTURING themselves.

Keep the mask on. Try to get vaccinated. But also go live your life and see some friends. It does not need to be THAT extreme.

Some people don’t know the meaning of “personal space”

and yet they still don't what it means... :neyde:

I agree with her but I think years is a bit of an exaggeration.

What she's saying is until a country is fully vaccinated they wont go back to normal which makes perfect sense.

To be honest, I have no issue wearing masks. I've found so many cute designs over the last year and I have enough now that I coordinate my outfits to match my masks. If there is one thing I want people to take away from this pandemic, it's the concept of personal hygiene. I am still floored at the amount of men I see walk out of the restroom without washing their hands, or people who cough/sneeze and keep on trucking like nothing happened. I fear that's too much to ask though :selena:

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

I'm on my limit...i think i just stayed withow seeing my friends on a relaxed way for too long, and I'm tired of always need an excuse to go anywhere. Lately every time I happened to see one of my friends ( it's either at supermarket or when we get a chance to meet outside after work) i have this urge to hug then, and it's so weird, i truly miss it, although I barely hug them before.

Before I left Florida, my friends and I were able to have a lovely going away gathering safely distanced in a park. You can keep some aspects of your social life if you're able to do so safely. Of course I know its not always possible for some people. I guess one nice thing about living in a rural area now is that there is plenty of outdoor spaces for me to see family. I'm so fortunate that my great-grandmother has a huge backyard and we've been able to visit safely. I can't wait to give her a hug again, though.

Florida’s advantage, arguably, is outdoor access. They can get away with “less restrictions” because so many can just be done outside / already is done outside.

I have just moved to FL and the amount of activities that are hosted outside just because, is shocking. It’s really good for you too, fresh air and open space, even without COVID.
