For any fan of Kylie Minogue the Showgirl: Greatest Hits Tour is really important, not just because the visuals are astounding, the setlist is incredible and the performances are top notch. Kylie discovered her breast cancer during this tour, she was able to perform her european leg of the tour, but because of her health she couldn't perform the Australian-Asian leg of the tour and had to cancel over 25 shows. The first doctor she went to said it was nothing to worry about, but she went sick anyway and thanks to the gods she went to a second doctor. Her breast cancer had an impact worldwide creating the "Kylie Effect" and raised the awareness of breast cancer of many women in Europe and Australia. It was her label's decision. But she certainly looked healthier, but I still frown my eyes upon her label's choice to resume the tour so soon. BTW Homecoming Tour will always be special because of White Diamond, I love it so much, the piano and the dancing version of it. It's such a powerful anthem. Also I always think it's criminal how underrated No More Rain is, it's Kylie poetry about surviving cancer, it should at least be a promo single.
