It's just European countries trying to find some excuse for their terrible vaccine rollout. Nothing more, nothing less. I'd like my vaccine please

I have a question.... how did those people know they have a blood clot? What are the symptoms? How can you know? Do you suddenly feel very unwell?

It's a tough decision... And since I am already vaccinated (BioNtech / Pfizer), I luckily do not have to make the choice. Let's just say, in the beginning I was thinking this might be just another fearmongering campaign amongst many. But right now, with reports of incidents going through the roof, and no real way to verify them, I don't know if I would take the AstraZeneca vaccine right now. Some former colleagues of mine got the Astra, and the entire vaccinated staff was sick for many days, so the numbers of people reacting with fever to the AstraZeneca vaccine seems to be much higher in my area. On the other hand, one of my current colleagues who also got the BioNtech/Pfizer like I did, had facial palsy for a whole day, which is of course one of the possible side effects, but it really did scare her. She is fine now, and I personally didn't have any side efffects at all. In the end, all I know is, getting vaccinated is the right choice, but I wouldn't judge you, if you chose to not take the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Getting sick after your first dose of AstraZeneca is the normal reaction most people have. Its your immune system working on it. Tbh I was so happy to be sick, cause I knew its working. The fever is completely normal and not the reason the stop is happening right now. The atop is happening because of the VERY FEW blood clotting cases

Biontech/Pfizer and Moderna the same, but after the second dose.

Also the incidents are not going through the roof, this is just wrong information.

Its good that you got vaccined but please, we need to go through this together. And we need every vaccine for it. Astra is as good as Biontech and Moderna

If you have it, then probably in the first 1-2 weeks.

Symptoms are when you have a very strong headache that doesn’t go away + a lot of red/blue dots on your skin.

Im not sure id call it "fake news".

Ppl may jump to conclusions or blow things out of proportion. But whatching out for ppssible effects and comfirming theres no correlation is a normal and responsible process. Thats not fake news for getting reported

To answer ur question yes id still get it but i feel weird voting on the poll cuz i dont consider these reports "fake news" :enigma:

I am not 100% sure about fake news from Media side BUT I do think politics are lying about the situation rn in the EU.

As I said before, the same happens with Biontech/Pfizer but no one is talking about it. Why? Simply because the EU doesn’t hold the liability of the vaccine. On the otherhand they do hold the liability for AstraZeneca. The stop in my eyes is a money question and the fear to get sued.

Also I start to believe its a cover up for their poor planning.

I work at the health department in my city and had the luck to get my vaccine. Some colleagues tho had theirs sheduled for yesterday and the days coming. Strangely we got an intern email hours before germany stopped AstraZeneca saying that there aren’t enough doses to hold the shedule so all people that haven’t had their first dose had their date cancelled. Hours later Germany stops AstraZeneca.

I don’t say that those cases of blood clotting don’t exist. But I do belive that the AstraZeneca stop is a political/business decision, sadly.

The problem of the Media is that they don’t show facts. Or that they don’t communicate them fast enough. The headline in germany was “AstraZeneca stopped: Several death cases”. This is the wrong way to communicate.

The Media and the politics made big mistakes this week and people sure lost trust in vaccines in general because of that.

All I can say is: GET VACCINATED :grr: NO MATTER WITH WICH VACCINE :grr:
