Honestly she's the closest to stanning an artist I've been since I was actually stanning Gaga back up until Joanne era. Maybe Taylor too. As far as pop goes.

I don’t care about someone’s opinion and that’s not even the problem here. Ofc someone can share it and ofc I am not here to change it.

He literally ALWAYS comes into Dua threads saying nice thing followed by something negative. He is always doing this and at this point it is obvious.

I would be stanning her right now if her music was better. Literally... like New Rules is annoying and very basic, and Future Nostalgia isn't that stellar of an album. Half of it is good, the other half is trash. Gays will praise anything that's slightly disco influenced and say its the best thing since sliced bread - and its not. I listened through her album and the title track (opening track) was dreadful, and then it was good until Pretty Please... which was dreadful. Hallucinate, I think, is her best song so I was extremely happy when I heard it. Love Again was awful, BMH was meh, and the last two tracks were unbearable to listen to. 

If FN had more of DSN, Hallucinate, and Physical... and less of Good In Bed, I'd love it and would probably be a stan. I'm waiting for her to give better music before I'm there... she has improved so much in her stage presence, in her dancing, and overall as a performer - I was just not impressed by the music and don’t see why it gets the hype it does. Grade A pop songs is a HUGE statement, its more like a C+ at best.

Her performance last night definitely perked my interest. I just need an album full of bops

So someone can only express pleasure in your fave, is that it? Someone can only give positive feedback and nothing critical about your fave? You're always doing too much trying to play this narrative and at what point do you get tired? That's what I want to know. I'm so over it man

It’s good you aren’t the judge, jury, or executioner on what is deemed grade A pop music. A label or any artist with a semblance of what goes into making an album would know you can’t have the same “bop” sound one after the other. It wouldn’t work and would take away from possible success with singles. That’s why there are filler songs or more experimental ones. I also think the other person is annoyed with you because of this^ the way you criticize her songs is very dramatic and to do that in this thread? Lol poking the bear are you?

I don't see it. She still moves around without confidence and I still feel that she lacks stage presence.

Nobody said I was a judge lmao...  I get that and too much of FN is one note. That's why I don't like it. Not meaning to compare but Chromatica has songs with the same influences but every song sounds different from the last. FN just becomes repetitive and boring, and songs like Good In Bed doesn't help. 

I've said that I think she's improved, even to the point where I might start stanning her. I think people are just upset that people have criticisms of their fave, and I'm not the only one here to say something critical of her. Not everyone is perfect and I think some people should remember that.
