Kingdom Hearts, my journey so far

So I've been playing the collection since like 3rd of August, non stop, every single day, trying to 100% every single game.

Yesterday I finally finished Dream Drop Distance and today I'm going to start Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage and then.. KH 3!!

So far my rating is

1. Birth By Sleep

2. KH 2.5

3. KH 1.5

4. Dream Drop Distance

5. RE:Chain

 

Re:chain is the worst for me.

Dream Drop felt like what Pokemon Sword and Shield were supposed to be, they had a great story, but the worlds felt too big and empty and all you did was fighting and opening chests.

 

Birth By Sleep really wowed me, the story was so good, the connection between the 3 stories, the worlds, the new ways of fighting, it was really just top.

I know that KH2.5 is the one that considered the best in the series, but unfortunately, I felt that at some point I'm just running in circles in the same places, they had many good ideas, but sometimes too much is just bad..

KH 1.5 felt like a beta version of everything honestly at the end but still has it's charm.

 

But I must confess that the story is f-cking confusing and I don't understand sh-t sometimes

ha and the movies are useless honestly, I didn't like them at all.

I hope the last 2 games and movies and better.

 

Sooo a question, when to watch χ Back Cover, after Passage? after KH3? after DLC?

i've been playing kingdom hearts since kingdom hearts 1. my favorite is probably 1 from a nostalgia standpoint. but i like all 3 main games. i've played chain of memories and didn't like it. after that, i didn't have much interest in the side games, and haven't played one since. so i'm like kinda lost as to what the hell is happening in the story cause it's so convoluted. but still enjoyed 3 a lot. will play 4 for sure

Dead at the movies being useless. It only helps if you play the game for 358/2 Days. I could care less about ReCoded movie. It was meh. And as for back cover it's just what happens in the background with the union leaders during the events of union x. By far my favorite is KH2. It was the first one I ever played then went back and played KH and Re:COM was a breeze not my favorite. KH3 I guess so many people think it's a let down because of how easy the gameplay was and the story just kinda felt rushed. We were all hyped to this big revelation that changed last minute. Then on top of that The DLC didn't really add anything to the game. It should've just been in the game period. The only great thing about that is the Data battles. Then there's melody of memories. I haven't played. Rhythm games just arent my thing, but hey if you love them go ahead and buy it. If not just watch the cutscene on youtube.

Loved all of them, I think 1 being my favourite for pure childhood nostalgia, but 3 is technically probably the best game, but the combat went a bit over the top. Hated the card game one in the tower whichever that was

I used to love Kingdom Hearts, I bought my PS4 to play KH3 and I am totally disapointed. I HATE KINGDOM HEARTS 3!!

I love love love KH2, Chain of Memories and Dream Drop Distance, those are great games, but KH3 is a waste of money, there's 5 worlds. FIVE F00CKING WORLDS!! The art is a piece of trash, the art of KH3 is the same quality of KH 3D or KH2. KH3 is not a PS4 game, it's a PS3 game delayed to be released on PS4, it's a shame compared to other PS4 games.

The Kingdom Hearts 3 is just an ad for recent Disney recent movies, it's boring, there's nothing new or special. I felt robbed of my money. The only world I actually liked was Toy Story. Toy Story was amazing. The art on Pirates of the Caribbean is always great, but the playability under water is so boring. The Frozen world is boring and every thing looks the same, really easy to get lost.

There's no classic disney worlds to play in KH 3, it's just an ad for recent Disney products. Also it's so short.

 

Kingdom Hearts 3 is a game made to sell DLCs, an usual KH game you take 20 to 30 hours to win, you can win KH3 within 8/10 hours, the art is crappy, it looks crappy compared to any other PS4 game. It's an advertsement to Disney recent movies and Toy Story new area on Disney Park. There's nothing special about it. There's no magic at all.

Omg glad to hear you enjoyed BBS and 2! Those are my favorite games as well! I’ve been playing since KH1 came out all the way back in 2002! I’ve played KH2 probably like 20 times and I’ve beaten all the games on critical and most of the secret bosses on crit. If you need help understanding the story watch a YouTube channel it will help a lot. I’d watch Back Cover before 3 doesn’t matter in relation to passage. It’s a lot better than the other “movies”. I hope you enjoy the rest of the games!! They’re my favorite series ever!
