It's unrealistic to say that someone could do better? No one's perfect. Biden is 10000% better than Trump in pretty much every category, but what I'm saying is that there's room for improvement.

The sanctions have been instrumentalized as a foreign policy tool since 2013 I guess. So reacting to stuff like that doesn't necessarily call for war 

It's sometimes weird to see that the regimes where civil rights seem to be in better shape than in Saudi Arabia face sterner sanctions

Saudi Arabia took actions against Russia with cutting oil prices and it screwed us too. Imagine what would happen if they too their aim at us with oils prices as retaliation from sanctions. 

It's not like China didn't retaliate against new taxes and we now have to subsidize our farmers.
