I know the bombing was related to Iran. And it happened in Syria. It doesn’t change my point that the US does not have a problem with antagonizing our current “enemies” so long as they are not economically tied to us like Saudi Arabia is. Once again, this isn’t about peace and freedom or being fiscally responsible or being morally good. This is about protecting American business interests. As it always has been. It’s old. It’s tired. And coming from the Biden administration only feeds into the far right conspiracy theories that claim the Democratic Party is the party of evil elites. He doesn't care what happens in other countries or regime take overs for crimes against humanity. So weird how Bernie supported react. What do you want Biden to do go to war with Saudi Arabia? I'm confused. I mean I'm disappointed because not for cutting the military budget but why are you upset? I’m confused why you’d make this a Bernie vs Biden thing. This is wrong. And it would be wrong regardless of who’s in office. A man was murdered by a foreign government and the US president’s family profited off of it and another president is letting it go despite overwhelming evidence. All for the sake of military contracts. That’s wrong.

Ooh we should start using that whenever a judge tries to convict anyone or a crime that happened a few prior to their sentencing! I think a more apt comparison would be double jeopardy but whatever. Yeah in my book it absolutely is a reason not to “punish” a country for a new president. This happened under a different president and years ago at this point. Just to be clear Biden has condemned the murder many times over and I’m absolutely sure that the murder will be in the back of his mind when making foreign policy decisions... ... bc you know... Biden is actually a decent man who doesn’t loath the free press... Also last I checked you were very anti US intervention?

I'm saying any president, Republican, Democrat and especially Liberal would have handled it the same way, which is why Bernie was brought up, because he was the far left candidate with the most votes in the last primary. It would have been confusing if I had said Andrew Yang or Elizabeth Warren who didn't have a chance of winning the primary. Libya is anything but chill right now 1 hour ago, FATCAT said: What money??? The military industrial complex, an unofficial alliance that pushes the military to more wars than it needs to in order to make more money off of weapons manufacturing. It’s a big reason why forever wars wont end. The U.S. “needs” Saudi Arabia as a key ally to continue it’s messy war so they’re afraid to punish, but yet even Adam Schiff is saying you can do both Biden said he’d end the forever wars, yet his first major foreign policy move was to cause more chaos in the world. HEARTSTOP 3,160
Why does it concern the US though? I'll never understand the US' constant need for interfering with foreign countries' internal policies. These problems got much worse after the US armed the middle east for no reason other than pure money interest disguised as "bringing freedom to the middle east". Freedom is not your product to export, you barely even have it. If a country (not necessarily its government) asks for help, or negatively affects external countries, then you may decide to intervene or not. Otherwise, stay out of it. This is literally THE ONE enemy in the Middle East the US should make All these other Middle Eastern nations the US has invaded, bombed or sanctioned are NOT the real enemies. Saudi Arabia is. It literally funds all these terror organizations that have been ruining Muslim majority nations. If we sanctioned Saudi Arabia, stopped providing them weapons and stopped supporting their proxies (aka terror groups) then we'd be making the entire Middle East a much safer place. We'd literally make a ton of new friends in the region. Saudi Arabia is like the black mailing rat of the Middle East. It has almost every nation there in a chokehold of terror and it makes sure NO democratic movement is a proper success in the region other than Tunisia which somehow managed to escape Saudi's interventionism in trying to ruin their new democracy. PartySick 174,379
Disappointing but I'm not actually sure what he could do about it now. Maybe back when it happened, the previous White House occupant could have done something.
