Paris Hilton revealed that she plans to keep her last name : 'I'm going to take it, but I feel like a hyphenated thing like Paris Hilton-Reum, because my name is just my name. I like it.' 

Paris said she 'was very surprised' when Carter Reum, 40, proposed on a private island, while celebrating their February birthdays.
She originally thought Carter was going to pop the question on their one-year anniversary in December: 'When it didn't happen, I didn't say anything but I was a little bummed.'

Paris Hilton admitted she dropped some hints, but her her partner told her: 'When I do ask you, it's going to be something even more amazing than this, so you'll see soon.' 

She told that 'he got down on one knee' as soon as they got to beach, after he told her to get dressed up so they could take some photos together.

'I just started shaking and crying because I was so excited, so happy,' she said, he also invited her family on the trip to celebrate: 'It was so nice that he thought to have our families there to celebrate the moment.'

Paris said they 'can't wait' to start a family together,  'It's something we've talked about a lot ever since we've been together. First the wedding, then the babies.'

i don’t think it’s a big deal that she was expecting it on the 1 year anniversary. 
I think it’s just different depending on the kind of people you are, you know? 
You could be the most in love people in the world and take 10 years before even considering engagement; I think it’s just about who you are as a person. I personally hate waiting lmao. 2 years is enough time for me to get engaged personally, but one of my friends said it’d have to be at least 5.
