Biden supports raising it but it might have to go to $12. an hour to pass then in a couple of years up to $15. No party, no president, gets everything they want. Just not realistic. I’m an assistant manager/head chef but mostly by name only, our staff is very small, only four people currently. Also i’m in Canada so our minimum wage is already $14 (but our dollar is worth less so it probably is like $10 US). If it were all up to Joe it would include it but nothing will get passed without compromises for the conservative Democrats and Republicans. There’s lots of other really important stuff in the bill that needs to get passed like funding for safe school reopenings and mass vaccination rollouts. If y’all only understood what raising the minimum wage would mean to this country and how much it would bring this country down, just so people with the lowest skill sets in this country can be given a handout. If you want to make more money, educate yourself and provide a skill that’s valuable. All of you socialists need to get the hell out of this country because all y’all do is complain. If you don’t like it here, move elsewhere and live the same lifestyle as your neighbor with terrible health care, you’ll be crying back to us! If your business is too much of a fail to pay more than a measly $15 an hour then it's not contributing much to the @Economy The wealthy losing a tiny bit of wealth will not harm our society omg.
