Sis watch the documentary She literally smokes weed, is surrounded by fans all the time, is a workaholic (filming for AHS and making an album) and is constantly changing outfits and looks. Hell just look at interviews and candids from 2016 too. It was all still very early Gaga, and it’s very clear when you watch that the only real change between then and “early Gaga” was a superficial change where she wanted to seem less avant-garde. If she’s allowed to recognize that superficial change why is it bad for us too. She’s been referring to Gaga as avant-garde since Cheek To Cheek anyway with the whole Lady by day Gaga by night thing. Working in two projects at a time is not a workaholic. She has a relationship now, has more free time, and has much more creative freedom. Smoking a little weed once in a while is nowhere near what she used to do pre-ARTPOP and the outfit changes don't happen in that scale anymore, not even close. That wasn’t even really an argument to begin with, all I said was she went back to her previous aesthetic and sound that she tried to leave behind during Joanne. Gaga’s always been hardworking and creative, so when I say she went back to the “old Gaga” there wasn’t supposed to be any confusion about that. Half of her singles will turn 10 in the following years. Celebrating each one of them is kinda overwhelming.
