^You know, I have not seen any of my friends or gone out or done anything since March of last year. I'm basically with my family all of the time. I have friends that have met up for birthday parties, Halloween, etc. (of course with masks and outdoor dining options). I haven't done anything. I don't want to go out if I don't have to. I don't want to risk infecting others. But I also can't blame my friends and others like them. Like I truly can't. The isolation at times is awful and I can't imagine how it must be for people who live in unstable homes and even school-aged kids right now who really do need the socialization a school environment provides. I don't agree with a lot of my friends and others going out even if they are wearing masks and taking precautions...but I do understand it...to a point....keyword being...to a point.

I can't support this, though. This truly is the epitome of stupidity in my country and this is just selfish. I don't even want to think of the aftermath of such a crowd gathering.

These same people CAN’T WAIT to throw hate at Americans every chance they get on this site. Not everyone in America is the same. Me and my friends, and my whole family and most the people I know aren’t out living mask free lives. Just because you see a dumb sporting event on tv, doesn’t mean that all Americans are the same.

no one should feel that they have to come on this website and defend their country from ignorant over generalizers. Yes there are some entitled people in America, but they exist everywhere in the world. Just an excuse for some of you to throw your hatred of America out there. So many of us Americans are doing everything in our power to not spread this virus, and a lot of us have been working on the front line throughout this whole thing- then we have to get on websites like this and be called dumb? How about you control your ignorance- maybe you should center your anger. Sport fans in the stadium? Sure. But don’t ****ing say all Americans.

The state of Florida currently has no active restrictions or mandates whatsoever in regards to COVID-19.  It hasn’t had any for months.

That’s why the NFL chose Tampa.  So they can get away with packing a stadium.

Theyre vaccinated health care workers and most of them are card board cut outs... if they weren't vaccinated I'd see the problem here.

Oh, and BTW. If yall did any research before you posted you'd see plenty of close up camera shots of the "crowd" and you'd see that there are clearly more card board cut outs than people. Stop falling victim to media click bait.

Again. They are vaccinated medical workers!!

From what I've read, getting vaccinated just stops you from getting symptoms as severely as you would have without it. It likely doesn't stop you from catching it or from spreading it, which is the most important factor here. It only benefits the person who has the vaccine, not everyone else they could put at risk. Vaccines also don't have 100% efficacy I believe, even after the second dose (which I'm not sure they would have had).

Super Bowl locations are planned out like 5 years in advance.

It’s capped at 25,000 people in the crowd. It’s NOT going to be crowded

What?
