Does this count for vocals that are specifically recorded to sound like they are a live vocal for performances but actually aren’t? Because I love k/cpop, but a lot of artists actually record new sets of vocals that sound a little bit off from the studio versions with extra breaths and a little off key here and there to make it seem as though they are singing live but really aren’t. Hmmm an interesting concept from China :enigma: too bad it probably doesn’t apply to the use of live autotune which I also think is cheating but that’s just my honest onion(girl)

Not y’all supporting this.. :saladga: This is basically a hit towards performance art and many artists that are not solely “signing” based. Performing art is MUCH more than just singing. I’d rather watch Britney Spears show than any of Adele’s because Britney is much more entertaining even tho she never sings live.

This is really ironic, considering when they hosted the Olympics, China had their national anthem lipsynced by a beautiful girl because the actual singer was deemed "too ugly" to represent the country.

if someone wants to lipsync or playback... they can. but they have to admit it and write it on the ticket or declare it somewhere before you pay. that’s all. like you have sometimes in concerts when they film and make you aware of that.

it’s just forbidden to fake live singing or to lie about it.

so i think that’s kind of a good thing.

I’ve always had the stance that, if you’re gonna lip sync, I could watch that same shizz in your music videos 🤷🏼‍♂️ So :vegas:
