German actors/celebrities/entertainment industry officials that collectively have announced their coming out as LGBTQ+. It's the society, public discourse and the way LGBTQ+ people get treated by police that's kinda awful and actually WAY behind. The general consensus of the general public is "if you're gay, good for you, but don't shove it down my throat, i don't wanna see it, i don't wanna hear it, i don't wanna know it." Anecdotally, LGBTQ+ people are more likely to face persecution, humilations and aggression by the police force. HOWEVER, we have no clear picture because the police force refuses to show transparance period. In terms of racial profiling, right-wing extremism in the police-force and violence towards the LGBTQ+ community the police refuses to let itself get investigated.
