I hope nobody thinks any of these women speaking out about how he didn't abuse them will be misconstrued as defending him and/or insinuating that those other women are lying. So I'm glad Dita made it clear that she stands with them the same as Rose did. Probably a lot of people were reaching out to her assuming that she must have been abused as well so she had to go on record so that people would know that it didn't befall her and sympathy should be reserved for the victims. She's always made it very clear that she called it off because he cheated and his drug issues and I'm sure she would've said if something worse had happened.

By the way, Wes Borland frm Limp Bizkit (he was a guitarist in Marilyn Manson for 9 months) and Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails (who used to be friends with him until they broke ties about 25 years ago) have both spoken out about him as well, saying that those girls are 100% telling the truth. Both of them say this kinda stuff was why they stopped working with him and Trent claims that Marilyn made up a false account in a magazine years ago that insinuated that they had assaulted an intoxicated women, something that still annoys him all these years later. I think when men back up women's accounts, that's when you know for a fact that they're not lying.

Cheating isn’t about not being attracted to your significant other, it’s about the need to feel desirable, the need for power, and that taboo nature of it all. That’s why it’s always the cheater’s fault, no matter what. No one is immune from being cheated on, unfortunately

That's not what I meant and it wasn't me personally believing in this. I mean that it acts as an additional layer of credibility to the outside world. When it's just women speaking up about their experiences and other women praising them and standing with them in a show of sisterhood, that's all well and good, but it still leaves it open to doubt in the eyes of many when they're stories that went on behind closed doors with no witnesses who could corroborate the story. You'll notice when MeToo accounts come out, unless it's men giving them, men who knew these women or could have been on set with these abusers when it happened, have been notoriously silent. Its been seen as an issue that these women have to report and deal with. Whether that's men feeling like it's not their place to speak up, sexism, or both, I don't know. But the point is, men have taken a step back when it comes to supporting women making accusations, they don't get involved. The fact that some are getting involved here definitely proves that things must have been true and so bad that even men had to speak up. That's my point.

I mean, Gavin Rossdale cheated on Gwen Stefani with the nanny (and God knows who else). I think cheaters will cheat no matter how gorgeous or wonderful their partners are.
