Would Gaga be in the same position she is today? Would she still be seen as a LGBT+ icon? Do you think that, maybe, she wouldn't be as famous as she is today? PartySick 148,544 Posted February 4, 2021 Share Posted February 4, 2021 I feel like people overestimate BTW's impact on lgbt rights it helped to further normalize gay relationships and queer kids but we likely would have made the same legislative and societal strides towards equality and protections without it. It was such a huge part of my life, specifically because of the way my best friend and I stanned the album.
