I mean, ASIB was filmed in May 2017 and released in October 2018 (1.5 year gap), while Gucci is going to be filmed in March 2021 and will be released in November 2021 (0.5 year gap). Why???? The cast came back for a few weeks of reshoots with Christopher Plummer in that role edit: actually I just looked it up and "Twenty-two scenes were completely reshot within eight days, only one month prior to the film's rearranged release date" that's crazy lol!! dit 46,469 Posted February 4, 2021 Share Posted February 4, 2021 ugh Robert Di Nero is not in the movie anymore? He does such a great job at anchoring a movie cast and roping them in. Now it feels like just as bunch of big names together without cohesion. Let's hope Al can bring that same grand father energy to create chemistry and chill vibes among the entire cast otherwise it wont translate well on screen. Either way I am so excited and I know this film will be excellent. I was an early supporter of ASIB and knew Gag would slay it and she will do the same here! Wasn’t ASIB set to be released on may 2018, but later delayed to october 2018?
