Definitely not a little movie by any means and with this cast and director definitely an Oscar contender from the jump. ASIB took so much longer because of Bradley. He was a first time director who spent sooo much time editing and screening the movie to over half of Hollywood and once he was ok with it Warner decided to wait longer for awards season. He's very talented and a great actor but he doesn't have the best reputation with other actors who have worked with him in the past. I know his role was for the Joker so he went all in but just watching how uncomfortable the rest of the cast is in this video bothers me: To be fair though I Gaga did gift Ryan Murphy a bag of vomit supposedly and I know when she threw the cast for AHS a party before filming the she had an X-rated cake made for Angela Bassett because it was also her birthday lol so I firmly believe she can handle him. For example? “Like that I was giving used condoms to people, which was not true,” he says. “It doesn’t matter how loud you shout or hold up a sign with your pants off in Times Square — people will run the story that they want.” (Leto joked about the used condoms during a red carpet interview before the film’s release last year.) The whole cast went with it to promote the movie and get it talking in the media.
