I mean, even when Sonja (her best friend from before she was ever famous) died she didn’t say anything about it for a while, let alone release a statement immediately after her passing. There was no way anybody could have predicted that Sophie would have an accident, and Sophie herself had tons of unreleased projects with other artists. It wasn’t an act of disrespect, they both clearly admired one another and their work. I'm sure she's already offered her condolences to those who were closer to her. Gaga didn't mention anything publicly about Frederic's mother passing for months even after Freddie talked about in a few posts. And if she does, it'll be in an interview or Q&A of some sort. I am a little disappointed that she hasn't said anything, because everyone knows SOPHIE was a Gaga stan & loved her and was excited to work with her, and her passing was so sudden & tragic, so for Gaga to be this silent is... quite surprising. But, as others said, people grieve differently. Plus, we don't know how close they were, besides working on some songs together. I would've been more shocked if Charli didn't say anything, as those two were practically a duo at one point. SOPHIE gave her her biggest hit with "Vroom Vroom".
