The DC Extended Universe is known for constantly keeping the moviegoing public on their toes. There are plenty of twists both behind and on the screen, and in no project is that more obvious than Justice League. After years of fan campaigning the Snyder Cut will become a reality on HBO Max this March, and with Zack Snyder having finally completed his vision. The filmmaker made the bold choice of utilizing Jared Leto's Joker during reshoots, and now we can see the first glimpse of his return to the Clown Prince of Crime.

During reshoots or the Snyder Cut, Zack Snyder made the bold choice to include Jared Leto's Joker. Clearly his version of Justice League will open new narrative doors, including Leto reprising his role for the very first time since David Ayer's movie. And now we can see the first glimpse at this comic book moment, check it out below:

The Snyder Cut is currently expected to arrive March 18th on HBO Max.

It looks like Joaquin Phoenix's Joker? :oprah:

Joaquin's look would not exist without Heath Ledger tho, the long hair and face paint were popularized because of TDK so if anything he looks like Ledger :reductive:

Agreed but that face shape looks more like Joaquin's.

The point is that it doesn't look like Jared :bear:

I wonder why they chose to change his looks. I thought the way he looked in Suicide Squad was fine tbh

it's because this scene is supposed to be set in a post-apocalyptic future

I guess it doesn't really matter

You're all actually able to tell if that's Jared, Joaquin, or even if he has long hair or what kind of makeup he has? Meanwhile if you told me it was Queen Elizabeth in the background I wouldn't even be surprised.

Why do I feel like this "Snyder Cut" will end up with a max Rotten Tomatoes score of 59%, leaving all the fan boys that weirdly propped this project up for years completely disappointed? :oprah: Haven't so many of his movies ended up panned?

how extensive are these 'reshoots' if they can include such a prominent and bold character?

some places say 15 minutes of new footage others say 2.5 hours (but I'm guessing 15 minutes of reshoots, the other 2+ hours of footage originally shot that got cut)

Zack said Joker is the only new thing being added and it's 4 min of footage. It's a glorified cameo basically.
