As much as I enjoy his music (his older stuff, anyway), I've been wary of him for years after I heard about all the weird, borderline abusive stuff he did back when he was hooking up with Jenna Jameson. So, I've known for a long time that's he's capable of stalking behaviour and sexualised abuse. He was married to Dita for such a short time that I always thought she must have realised early on that she'd made a mistake and when he cheated on her, it further made him look bad. I always knew that he was the one Evan was talking about when she didn't name her abuser, it sounded totally like the stuff I'd heard about him. I know we shouldn't always judge based on appearance and it's so easy to say that he's messed up because of how he looks and the music he makes but in his case, it seems like the writing was on the wall. The way he got involved with all these victims speaks of a pattern - find vulnerable (usually very young) women who are lost and looking for a sense of identity, charm them and make them feel like they're the only one and then isolate and abuse them and threaten them with blackmail or even self harm if they try to leave. You can understand why he managed to get so many women interested in him. He's highly articulate, has a dry sense of humour, comes across as polite and charming and if you're into that kinda look, he's got the whole rockstar thing going on. That's catnip to so many. It looks like the Armie Hammer story opened the floodgates. I wonder if there's any other abusive males that are going to be brought to light soon now that this particular thread has been highlighted?

I never listenedĀ to his music and just know him by reputation, I know his looks, his stage persona, I heard some of his songs, but what I don't like about this is that it will reinforce the belief that people with a crazy, dark artistry or style are psychos, should not be trusted etc. It's great when people like this are actually really good and kind behind all of the crazy stuff, Gaga is a good example of that but people will often take this too seriously and think the person is actually deranged and not recommendable, and as one of the most famous examples of this kind of artistry, it's too bad that he had to be like this.

Uff, I grew up a fan of his and even had quite a crush on him, but around the time of his divorce from Dita, I started finally picking up some bad vibes about him personally, and those bad vibes have snowballed since, growing more and more confirmed...

So sad to read these accounts from multiple women, all with similar memories of their relationships with him. (This is self-centered of me to say at this point, but I'm glad I fell away as a fan of his over time or I'd be getting major whiplash right now.)

Wishing these women healing and safety. And hoping he STAYS AWAY from partners so he stops hurting people. Ugh. :(

The only thing that matters is the judgement of facts and nothing was ever proven despite years and years of investigation.

I wonder if Lana Del Rey has anything against him. She collaborated with him and horror director Eli Roth on a music video, but dropped out because she wasn’t comfortable with the project. It included a scene where she wasĀ raped.Ā

What's sick is when you realize that the vulgar parts of Marilyn Manson's work reflect his actual life. Much how R Kelly's lyrics are predatory just like his real life actions.

He needs to be cancelled and his catalog removed from streaming services.

I was disgusted by how he talked to Gaga in this article. It’s longĀ but it’s towards the end.

Joking to her that she will need a hanger for the abortion later.

I hope he never got his wish to be balls deep in Gaga.Ā :ohno:Ā Also hope he wasn't the one that raped her.Ā :ohno:

He doesn't deserve to have balls.

He also doesn't deserve rights to perform any of Gaga'sĀ music going forward. Not much can be done about the past.Ā :grr:
