But I'm so glad my idol is an intelligent and responsible role model who takes a pandemic seriously and doesn't fly all over the world on vacations and throw parties mean while the rest of the world is suffering. Guess what kind of trip I'm taking? I'm driving 2 hours to visit my brother-in-law who has terminal cancer and probably only has days to live, weeks if we're lucky. Because of the pandemic, we didn't celebrate a big family holiday, and I haven't seen him since last February. Because of the pandemic, I'll be wearing a KN95 mask the whole time I'm at my sister's, except when I'm sleeping in a separate room or eating in a different room, and even then, I feel like I'm taking a risk, but the benefit outweighs the risk, because my sister needs me there, so I'm going. Meanwhile, we've got people traveling unnecessarily for pleasure with people outside of their household who are flaunting it on social media.
