Here come the doom and gloomers šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜… chill she's not quitting music. She has kept the HL promo down to a bare minimum so idk why y'all act like she's so devoted to make up that she gave up music. Must have missed that album she put out last year... The one she wrote, recorded, produced and released alongside setting up this company.Ā

Ma'am 4/5 of her insta posts are about a brand sponsorship of some sorts, a good chunk of that being Haus Labs... the attention to Chromatica is literally nonexistent... I can't imagine saying blatantly wrong things like that in the name of feeling morally superior.

It’s honestly a bit strange it sells so well bc I rarely see beauty youtubers talk about it and if they do it is either negative or they are unimpressed.

That hasn't been my experience at all. I sometimes click on MUAs commenting on the HL page, often very small ones and they all really like it and use it.Ā

I just watch YouTube videos, I don’t really know abt muas on insta but I also feel like Instagram MUAs are less likely to be honest about products because they want PR or to get reposted by brands they use.

how trusted are those sources, this means that they sold over 2.000.0000 products in one year if we assume that each product is priced at 50 dollars. it reminds me of the case where kylie was awarded the youngest billionaire title which ended up being removed from her.

I'm always surprised at how lucrative those endeavors are. I didn't think Haus Labs ranked that high, I'm very happy our girl has a top 3 beauty business, especially when you keep in mind how crowded that gig is getting. Now I'd love her to expand to nail polish and skin products, so I can finally give Haus Labs all my money.

Dude you're not getting it. It's just not clicking with you at all. You're so butthurt over her not promoting chromatica to your liking that you wanna act like she's schilling HL constantly. She actually promotes it herself very little when you consider what she could be doing. A few posts on her IG every few weeks or when a new product drops is NOT a lot. Yet her "fans" did their living best to trash her brand constantly. Too right I feel smug on her behalfĀ :firega:

I haven't kept up with HL much since I'm not into makeup, but dang literally keeping up with the Kardashian brands is pretty impressive!

Yup. The fact it sells on Amazon and has been kept to the most neutral generic color palette there is tells me this is a brand for midwestern soccer moms more than anything else. I guess that's the core demographic.

Cause actual makeup people don't like the brand. I know some people will still say we're being "negative" or whatever. But when the beauty community is so blatantly lukewarm about a brand, it should tell you that there is some validity in the critics.

And before I get told "it sells so it's a good brand", I can remind you of products like the St Ives Scrub which are bestsellers and found in basically every household despite being objectively terrible for your skin. Or Dance Monkey topping the charts. The general public has **** taste and popularity isn't the sole indicator for quality, in all industries.

It's a generic, uninspired brand with no real identity. The quality is ok to good, nothing oustanding and doesn't warrant the price point.Ā

So no, those numbers don't suddenly make me like Haus Labs.
