Ugh no! Goodbye work from home life. :grr:

I suppose it’s enough of a sacrifice to go back to work to save people’s lives :yennefer:

That’s if enough people get it but unfortunately there’s a lot of idiots in America who won’t. Just yesterday I got tested for antibodies and I asked the lab tech who drew my blood if she’d gotten her vaccine yet and she said “We were offered it but I’m not getting that thing” :saladga:

"Nearly every American inoculated"

Does this account for the 50% of Americans who are anti-vax?

I don't think 50% are seriously anti-vax.  Maybe most want to hear more about how safe is was among those who were already vaccinated, and then they will sign up for the vaccine.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Most schools and certain jobs will probably require it at the end Of the year so they probably won’t have a choice

It was 40% when I checked :toofunny: but a little over half of them said they would change their minds if it turned out to be safe.

I forget what percentage we need to vaccinate in order to get herd immunity? At least two thirds (~66%) I'm assuming :bradley:

My job is actually paying us $300 plus 5 hours of pay to get it when it's available  I guess to incentivize and help offput any travel expenses or missed work from actually going to get it.

I don’t want to sound negative, but this sounds very unlikely. I wish all this could come to an end as soon as September, but it seems like each day there’s more and more cases and new variants of the virus.

I also want to add the word “anti-vaxxers” is thrown around in here way too loosely.   Just because someone isn’t willing to hop on line to immediately get the vaccine, it doesn’t mean they are anti-vaxxers. Maybe they are just hesitant and want to learn more about the vaccine before injecting it into their body. It’s a exhausting sometimes reading some comments in here at times that can be borderline rude just because some people aren’t interested in getting the vaccine (yet). Those who want it can feel free to get it, and those who need more time to decide for themselves shouldn’t be “crucified” by anyone else for their decisions. At the end of the day, nobody in here knows everyone’s person business regarding allergies, underlying health needs, etc., that may cause side effects or Heaven forbid potentially dangerous side effects from the vaccine. It may be unlikely for most people, but there’s definitely that chance for others with medical needs. Let’s please try to be respectful and stop tossing “anti-vaxxers” around here like an insult.
